August Leimbach Collection

August Leimbach is best known his sculpture Madonna of the Trail which he created for the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1927.

This marvelous Giclée was created from an unpublished photo re-mastered from August's personal portfolio. The details are meticulous, and the tone and overall feel remain genuine.

Limited Edition-Signed/Numbered John LaGatta Lithographs

John LaGatta were a renowned advertising and fashion illustrator who's work was most prominent in the 20's and 30's. In the company of a few great artist of the time (Maxfeld Parish and Norman Rockwell), the ongoing demand for LaGattas work during the Great Depression remained virtually unaffected. His favorite subject ...the female form. The lithos are stunning, and his passion and signature style are evident within each stroke.

These were pulled and signed at the Kistler Atelier in California in the late 60's. Each litho measures 20x26, were created on a thick, acid neutral stock, and are signed and numbered in pencil. Image quality is excellent. Paper color has a very slight tint. We purchased the remaining uncirculated lithos known to exisit from the entire series. Each edition total are 275. Please inquire in regards to edition #'s that are available.

As with any quality image, your print should not be exposed to adverse conditions. Do not locate your artwork in direct sunlight or expose to other direct light sources. Also avoid situations of extreme heat and humidity. As anxious as you are to share your new acquisition, have your print framed/mounted as soon as possible to avoid the likelihood of creases, scratches, or absorbtion of skin oils into the media.
